May 1718 - Vol II, No. 49, 12 Apr 1720 - [unknown] - Vol XVII, No. 896, 13 Apr 1784 - 19 Oct 1901. Continued as Leeds and Yorkshire Mercury 21 Oct 1901 onwards. In progress as a daily paper. Willing's Press Guide, 1932, states that it was suspended from 1755-1757, when a new series was started.
