Additional Information | The full run was 9 Nov 1734 - 13 Sep 1735 and included issue Nos. 45. The issues included here are: No. 1 (Feb 1735). Edited by Michel de la Roche. "This new ed. consists only of three hundred and fifty copies." Quote taken from the preface. This first edition of this periodical was issued by Michel de La Roche from Mar 1710 to Sep 1714, and from Jan to at least Apr 1717. In 1725 he started "New memoirs of literature," which ran until Dec 1727, and in 1730 "A Literary journal, or a continuation of the Memoirs of literature," which came to an end in 1731. cf.
